CAMP NDUNDA
Camp Ndunda is a beautiful campsite located about 10km from Embu town a distance of 2hrs from Nairobi.
We began our journey from Nairobi through the scenic highway via Thika, Sagana and Mwea towns. We had a stopover at Nice Digital City in Mwea town.
After arrival at Camp Ndunda, we registered then proceeded with the activities for the day. First one was the nature walk through the picnic area which led us to the famous wild swing. This was unforgettable experience as you would swing between tall trees in the forest. This was the highlight of the trip and I would do it again. I highly recommend this excursion to the adrenaline junkies.
Next we went for the canopy walk, another breathtaking sight crowned by the beauty of the waterfall.
We then zip-lined across the river which was another amazing experience.
There after we went for lunch which was delicious. After lunch we went for our last but not least activity which was archery where I learned how to shoot arrows, another new exciting experience.
Other activities included mud-run, volleyball, darts, cycling. The day ended by celebrating the May babies with a delicious cake.
