2 DAY LAKE NAKURU SAFARI
Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes at an elevation of 1,754 m above sea level. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in the rift valley of Kenya and is protected by Lake Nakuru National Park.
There are magnificent views of the entire park from Out Of Africa viewpoint. There are plenty of Pink Flamingos, Rhinos, Buffaloes, and Waterbucks among other animals. Enjoy a morning bush breakfast at one of the picnic spots after a game drive hopefully you will have spotted a hunt.
Lake Nakuru was first gazetted as a bird sanctuary in 1960 and upgraded to National Park status in 1968. The Park has Kenya’s largest population of rhinos. The surface of the Lake Nakuru occupies about a third of the park. It supports a dense bloom of the blue-green Cyanophyte Spirulina platensis from which it derives its color and is a food source for flamingos.
During peak season over millions of flamingos and Pelicans congregate on the lake.

Day One
6:30 am: Pick up from your Nairobi city hotel.
7:00 am: Depart for Nakuru National Park
10:00 am: Enjoy an en-route game viewing drive at the park
12:30 pm: Check in to your hotel and later head for lunch
14:00 pm: Afternoon spent at leisure by the pool.
16:30 pm: Evening game viewing drive
19:00 pm: Dinner & overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge
Day Two.
6:00 am: Depart for Early morning game viewing drive.
8:00 am: Bush Breakfast at out of Africa view point
9:00 am; Head back to the hotel.
10:30 am: Check out of the hotel and head back to the city.
16:00 Pm: Drop off at your city residence or Airport.
