Day 1

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

You will be picked from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in the morning by our Guide and be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park via the equator where you will take some photos and have a look at the traditional drums and crafts before proceeding to Masaka for Lunch.

Drive to Lake Mburo National Park after lunch and check in to your hotel. Embark on a game drive later in the evening in search of animals such as the Eland, Topis, Impalas, zebras and many more with a chance to see some colorful beautiful birds in the evening fly to their resting places.

Day 2

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast you will embark on another journey through the Switzerland of Africa area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arriving in time for Lunch. Check into the lodge for lunch and rest off for the After noon.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Rushaga area

Have an early morning breakfast and then report to the park headquarters for registration and join other trackers in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Tracking. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas which can take you half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered creatures. Optional activity: Batwa Experience Trail or the community walk in Buhoma. Dinner and overnight as previous night.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

This morning you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park; be prepared for some incredible scenery along the way. Enjoy a breathtaking game drive in the south of the park famed for the tree climbing lions. Then you will continue northwards arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch head off for an afternoon game drive in the plains of Kasenyi

 

in search for savannah wildlife that may include herds of buffaloes, antelopes, elephants and if lucky, some wild cats such as lions and leopard. You may stay at the Baboon Safari Lodge or Albertine Valley Lodge.

Day 5

Morning Game Viewing & Water Cruise on the Kazinga Channel

This morning you will head back to the plains of Kasenyi for a morning game drive to try to find what could have been missed the previous day. Lunch will be served at the lodge and after you will head to the jetty along Kazinga channel for the afternoon boat cruise. This cruise offers you the chance of viewing animals like hippos, water birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and many other wildlife which flop the channel for drinking water. Dinner and overnight at the lodge of the previous night.

Day 6

Transfer to Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. This afternoon, we can organize an optional nature walk to the crater lakes region or a community walk in the Bigodi community. Dinner and overnight at your choice of accommodation which might be at Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 7

Chimpanzee Trekking

This morning after breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters to join other trackers for a briefing. Then you will be taken for chimpanzee tracking through Kibale Forest National Park. During this walk, you will have chances of seeing many of the 13 primate species native to Kibale Forest National Park. After lunch you will drive to Bigodi for a swamp walk.

This wetland belongs to a community neighboring the park. Dinner and overnight as previous night.

Day 8

Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Drive to Murchison Falls National Park through small towns, villages and great views of the escarpment arriving late in the evening. The drive takes you along the Great Rift Valley and magnificent views of scenery. Lunch will be en-route; later arrive at the National Park and check into your lodge for dinner and overnight at your lodge of preference. You can stay at Murchison River Lodge.

Day 9

Morning Game Drives and Afternoon Boat Cruise on the Nile

After an early morning cup of tea, transfer to the northern section for your morning game drive that will provide you an opportunity to spot wild game that may include giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos and if lucky cats such as lions and leopards. Return to the lodge for a lunch break before proceeding to the pier for your two hour boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. There you will witness how river Nile squeezes itself in a narrow gorge before exploding out creating the experience of a lifetime. Dinner and overnight as previous night.

Day 10

Journey through the North to Kidepo Valley National Park

One last chance to see some wildlife as we head out of the north-eastern corner of the park en route to the bustling ‘capital of the north’, Gulu for lunch. After lunch we take the road north to Kitgum and conditions dictate our progress but we expect to take around 2 hours through the rural north before a quick break in Kitgum. From Kitgum we head north-east to Kidepo. This is a stunning drive as we head into increasingly mountainous terrain before finally bursting through the mountain pass with the beautiful Kidepo Valley National Park laid out before us. We arrive at your lodge in the early evening and will then take the opportunity to stretch your legs and climb Amapuis Rock viewpoint for a sundowner.

Day 11

Big Game and Big Scenery at Kidepo

Wake up in the middle of the action and watch the sunrise over the Morongole mountains with a coffee and some fresh fruit. Then we begin our day of game viewing with a visit into the Narus valley in search of lion, elephant, giraffe, eland, zebra, and leopard and to marvel at the sight of the huge herd of buffalo grazing in the wetland. After lunch at the lodge you will head towards the seasonal Kidepo river in search of cheetah and ostrich. You can take a cooling drink among the Barassas palms at the Kidepo river, from which the area take their name before returning to your lodge in the mid evening.

Day 12

Karamojong Cultural Experience

After breakfast you will embark on another journey to the capital of the region, Moroto arriving in time for lunch. You will check in and have lunch. After lunch. you will head into the surrounding countryside and be introduced into the culture of the Karamojong. You will participate in daily life activities from preparing local foods, looking after cattle to celebrations. This will be an unforgettable journey, culminating in a night stay in a Manyatta (a fenced village).

Day 13

The Journey – Pian Upe Reserve

Wake up to the sights, sounds and smells of pastoral life and after breakfast we will continue our journey north through the rugged Karamoja scenery towards Pian Upe Game Reserve just in time for lunch. After Lunch you will have time to rest off before heading out for the evening game drive.

Day 14

Sipi Falls

After breakfast you will have another mini game drive on you way out for Sipi Falls. Ypu will continue to Sipi falls arriving in the afternoon for lunch and Rest off for the day. On this day you can have an optional community walk, or just choose to relax at the long as you enjoy the beautiful view of the falls.

Day 15

Sipi Falls Hike, Coffee Tours

Have breakfast and an early morning hike of the Sipi Falls, there are 3 main waterfalls and you will visit all of them. The effort is well worth it as you will find beautiful scenery and then you will come back to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the local farming households. You will be trained on the entire process of how coffee moves from the farm up to the cup. While among the communities we shall carry out some charity activities which shall be pre-planned and of your choosing before returning back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 16

Transfer from Sipi to Jinja

Jinja is the second biggest town in Uganda after Kampala. It is here that you will find the source of River Nile, Bujagali falls plus a couple of industries. Jinja is situated on the Northern shore of the large Lake Victoria just above the impressive Ripon falls. Visit the source of the River Nile where you will go for a relaxing sun downer boat cruise on the beautiful River Nile. The place where Speke saw the Ripon falls back in 1862. Retire back to  your hotel.

Day 17

White Water Rafting, boat cruise Transfer to Kampala Or Entebbe

Following breakfast, go for white water rafting. People of different levels of experience can go for rafting from beginners to professionals and this has made it one of the finest places for water rafting as well as kayaking. Grab some quick lunch and later in the late afternoon you will go a boat cruise at the longest in the world.

In the late afternoon you will continue to Kampala or Entebbe to catch your evening flight if your flying out on this day. Incase your to stay for an extra night we can arrange for you accommodation for this particular night at an extra cost.
